Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group in collaboration with a Fortune 500 consulting is searching for a skilled Associate Contract Manager. The Manager will provide support to the Contract Management team or directly to the Client Engagement team to enable the administration of US Federal government contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements. Will have prior contracts administration in a government contracts environment. They will have advanced knowledge of acquisition regulations. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and support all contract functions; handle cradle-to-grave development for assigned contracts, including coordination efforts with involved contributors
  • Review and negotiate contracts, amendments, change orders, client and vendor agreements; respond to inquiries regarding revisions
  • Evaluate all contracts to ensure compliance and adherence to all terms and requirements
  • Identifies contract management issues and proposes solutions for approval
  • Responsible for communicating all updates and modifications between teams and project leads, and confirming all specifications are met for compliance purposes
  • Supports training activities for Contract Management personnel
  • Provide contract management training to personnel when required


Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field required
  • 4+ years of contract management experience
  • Understands and demonstrates basic US Federal contracting principles
  • Experience with Department of Defense, Health or Veteran’s Affairs preferred
  • Advanced degree in business, contract management, law or related fields preferred
  • Demonstrates familiarity with VAARS preferred
  • Knowledge and familiarity with federal contracting regulations and policies; understanding of FAR/DFAR
  • Strong technical skills; proficient in using Microsoft Office applications
