Special Education Teacher

Position Overview: As a Special Education Teacher with ProCare Therapy, you will play a vital role in providing specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities. You will develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborate with school teams, and create inclusive learning environments where all students can thrive. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in various academic subjects and skill areas.
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate students' unique learning styles, abilities, and interests.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to facilitate inclusive learning environments and promote student success.
• Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust instructional strategies as needed to support student growth and achievement.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication regarding student progress and services provided.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and success.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Wisconsin Special Education teaching license or eligibility for licensure.
• Previous experience working with students with disabilities in educational settings preferred.
• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to support students' growth and development.
