Overview: Processes a variety of transactions related to warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, issuing parts to jobs, physically moving parts, and inventory counts.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to:
* Receive incoming materials, supplies and equipment * Unload trucks, inspect material for damage or defects, uncrate and assemble materials if needed * Prepare crates and other items to be shipped * Process basic shipping / receiving / inventory transactions in computer system * With training, operate material handling equipment including hand truck, pallet jack, forklift, delivery vehicle, etc. * Deliver materials to appropriate departments and obtain required signatures * Demonstrate skills required to obtain forklift operator certification * Maintain good housekeeping in assigned area * Comply with all applicable safety, environmental, and PPE policies and procedures * Read, write and speak English
Knowledge:
* General knowledge of inventory processes including storing, receiving, packaging, preserving, issuing, shipping, or transferring, and inventory control
Minimum Education and Certification:
* High school diploma or equivalent * Valid Driver's License and good driving record
Minimum Experience:
* Typically less than 2 years related experience
Leadership:
* No leadership responsibilities
Non-Essential Duties: Performs other duties as assigned
