Business Development Manager General Construction

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Sales team in the General Construction and Data Center industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building relationships with clients, and preparing comprehensive proposals. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes and data center infrastructure.

1. Identify and develop new business opportunities within the General Construction and Data Center industry.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and requirements.
3. Develop comprehensive scopes of work for potential projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company capabilities.
4. Create detailed project schedules, considering resource availability, deadlines, and project milestones.
5. Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities and market gaps.
6. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote services and build partnerships.
7. Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders, showcasing company capabilities and value proposition.
8. Track and report on business development activities, including sales pipeline, revenue forecasts, and market trends.

Required Education and Experience: 

1. Bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
2. 7+ years’ experience as a Business Development Manager
3. 5+ years’ management experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

1. Experience in facility staffing
2. P&L Management experience with successful track record
3. Experience working with Data Centers
