OVERNIGHT DATA ENTRY CLERK

Spherion is recruiting for a couple of Genesee County manufacturing companies that are seeking Off Shift Data Entry Operators! These locations are in Swartz Creek and Burton, MI. These are NOT REMOTE opportunities, but would require reporting to work each day at one of these facilities. Hours are 1st shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm / 2nd Shift: 4:00pm - 12:30am OR 4PM-1:30AM / 3rd shift: 10:30 p.m. - 7:00am BUT ALL SHIFTS MAY VARY SLIGHTLY DEPENDING ON STAFFING NEEDS. MOST OPENINGS ARE ON 2ND OR 3RD SHIFT. Overtime on weekends is normal, so all interested applicants must ensure that they are available for full-time and overtime hours. Compensation is $16/hr.

***Applicants must complete computer-based testing sent to them within a week of receiving it. Failure to do so will result in application being made inactive and no longer being considered for the role.

Responsibilities:
On a regular basis (approximately once per hour), employee will walk through the manufacturing facility to locate the correct areas and lines to retrieve paperwork and take that back to their desk in order to efficiently and accurately enter data for record purposes. Employees may need to help out in other areas as well depending on cross-training opportunities.

Skills:

• Accurate data entry skills.
• Proficiency with MS Excel.

Qualifications:

• ***Completion of computer-based testing sent to your from Spherion.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Pending employees will need to submit to a pre-employment drug screen as well a background check.
• Must be able to demonstrate a reliable attendance record in order to be considered for ongoing employment.
