Food Runner/Utility Steward

The Jefferson, Washington D.C. is currently recruiting for a Food Runner/Utility Steward to join our highly acclaimed and award winning Food & Beverage team.

The Jefferson, Washington D.C. has been named one of the top hotels in Washington, D.C. and presents this exciting opportunity for someone who is interested in growing within a setting that finds delight in the details that take our guests experience beyond expectation.

Qualifications:

• At least two years of experience in a luxury hotel restaurant or gourmet restaurant
• Move easily throughout the restaurant and kitchen carrying full trays of food and beverages
• Know and understand banquet event orders and the accompanying terminology
• Stable work history with good references
• Ability to speak read and write Basic English
• References that indicate attention to detail and reliability
• Excellent guest services orientation
• Meet the performance demands of this position with regard to walking, standing, balancing, bending, climbing, reaching, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 75-100 lbs
