Job Description

The Therapeutic Program Assistant assists the Speech Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, and/or special educator in all activities of the day, including in the classroom, on the playground, or in the other special settings such as lunch, art, music, field trips, etc. EOE

Programs run for 7 weeks from June 24, 2024 - August 9, 2024. The Therapeutic Program Assistant must be able to commit to the full 7 weeks. Hours are 8:45am-12:45pm or 12:15pm-3:45pm and range from 15-20 hours a week.



Required Experience for the Therapeutic Program Assistant:

College-level work in early childhood development, special education, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, is highly desirable.

Demonstrated experience in working with young children (age two to seven years) in nursery schools, child care centers, special camps or school programs is also highly desirable.

As a condition of employment, all employees are required to have received at least the first dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. New hires must receive any additional vaccine doses in the appropriate timeframes to be considered fully vaccinated and submit weekly test results until they are fully vaccinated. Requests for religious or medical exemptions will be reviewed and evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
