As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in our technology team. You will be responsible for the development, deployment, and seamless integration of cloud-based applications and systems. You will also leverage your extensive knowledge of AWS Cloud services, including AWS CloudWatch, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS Aurora, S3, and CloudFront. In addition, the successful candidate will be skilled in infrastructure automation using Terraform. You will collaborate closely with our engineering team to ensure the scalability, security, and efficiency of our cloud-based resources.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and manage robust, secure, scalable, highly available, and dynamic solutions on AWS.
  • Set up, configure, and optimize AWS CloudWatch for monitoring the health and performance of services and applications.
  • Implement and manage serverless applications using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
  • Manage and optimize RDS Aurora instances, ensuring their reliability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage data storage using S3 and handle content delivery and network distribution through AWS CloudFront.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IAC) scripts using Terraform.
  • Automate continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application development, deployment, and operation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence, learn, and teach best practices.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with AWS cloud services: AWS CloudWatch, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS Aurora, S3, and CloudFront.
  • Strong experience support serverless applications
  • Extensive experience with infrastructure as code (IAC) tools, particularly Terraform.
  • Solid understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD methodologies, and agile practices.
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, JavaScript, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, SMTP, BGP.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar AWS certification.
  • Experience with other monitoring and logging systems, besides AWS CloudWatch.
  • Familiarity with security concepts, tools, and best practices.
  • Quicksight Experience
  • Experience with Timestream
  • IoT Core Experience
