About this position:

As a .NET Application Developer, you will be part of teams developing software applications and delivering high quality, defect-free software.  You will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software applications using the .NET framework. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, implementing features in languages like C# or VB.NET, and integrating applications with databases.

Salary Range: 60k-130k - commensurate with candidate's skills, experience, location, and qualifications.

Experience Levels: Roles classified based on experience levels and proficiency in tools and technologies. 0-3 years for Junior roles, 3-6 years for Mid-level, 6+ years for Senior, and 12+ years for Architect roles.

On a day-to-day basis you will:

1. Design, code, test, and debug software applications using the .NET framework.
2. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, analyze user needs, and develop solutions that meet business objectives.
3. Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code in languages such as C# and VB.NET.
4. Perform ongoing maintenance, updates, and enhancements to existing systems.
5. Integrate applications with databases, ensuring efficient and optimized data storage and retrieval.
6. Identify and resolve software issues and bugs, ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of applications.
7. Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
8. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
9. Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure they meet quality standards and user requirements.

Required Education/Qualifications:

• Security Clearance: Top-Secret security clearance, fully adjudicated.
• Education: Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent field, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Tools and Technologies:
• Strong proficiency in C# or VB.NET and the .NET framework.
• Robust database skills, particularly with SQL Server, Oracle, or other relational databases.
• Knowledge of web development technologies, including ASP.NET, MVC, and Web API.
• Proficient in front-end technologies, encompassing HTML, XHTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, AJAX, PrimeFaces, and Web 2.0.
• Experience with web application frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Struts, coupled with a broad understanding of diverse software development tools and languages, including Linux, Servlets, JSP, PHP, etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Project, and SharePoint).
• Skills: Possesses strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills for debugging purposes.
• Personal Attributes: Self-driven, customer-focused, Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Process & Methodology: Experience in Agile and DevSecOps methodologies, and project management.
• Certifications: Security + CE Certified
• Articulation and Execution: Mid-level to Senior roles, ability to clearly articulate ideas is key, fostering successful project execution and enhancing team synergy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Security+ certification. preferred
• Knowledge in MuleSoft - Preferred, not required.
• Knowledge of Previous experience working with DoD systems, showcasing familiarity with defense-related projects and security requirements.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Familiarity with Personnel Security will be a plus.
• Experience working with and supporting Agile development teams and DevSecOps environments, showcasing adaptability and collaboration in fast-paced development setups.
• Proficient in Microsoft products such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Project and SharePoint.
