Enjoy the rewarding tasks of caring for our patients and boarders on a daily basis. Responsibilities include feeding, watering, cleaning, walking, bathing, and closely monitoring the well-being of pets. Maintain a clean and sanitized environment by taking care of kennels, the surgery suite, and the lobby. Provide support to veterinarians and technicians through tasks such as restraint, bathing, client interaction with boarders, wrapping/cleaning surgical packs, and managing inventory. - Responsible for the day-to-day care of patients and boarders
- Safe handling and restraint
- Feeding and watering
- Walking and bathing
- Monitoring behaviors
- Ensuring the well-being of pets
- Assisting medical staff
- Some evening ,weekend and holiday hours required
What You'll Bring:
- Must have previous animal experience
- Must have sufficient physical strength, mobility, and stamina to lift and/or move heavy pets and objects
- A sense of fun and teamwork – Smiles and laughter are required for all who apply
- Dependable and able to work independently
- The ability to monitor pets for signs of distress or disease
- A willingness to learn and the desire to provide gentle, compassionate care for boarded and hospitalized pets
- References, background checks, and drug testing are required
