Eldon C. Stutsman, Inc. is located in Hills, Iowa - a short 10-minute drive south of Iowa City. We are hiring for an experienced and self-motivated Material Handler to join our Feed Warehouse team.

About the Job:
The Material Handler serves our customers for success by ensuring the timely and accurate receiving and shipping of feed products and/or ingredients. Candidates must demonstrate skills in problem solving, time management, communication, collaboration, and adaptability.
The Material Handler is an hourly position with full-time hours, located in Hills, Iowa and reports directly to the VP of Feed Ingredients. Overtime is to be expected, with an annual total of 250 hours paid at 1.5X the normal rate.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble customer orders, ensures all paperwork is in line, and verifies all loads are correct and ready for shipment in an efficient manner
- Unload shipments, record proper inventory, and place the item(s) in the appropriate locations
- Properly palletize product, stretch-wrap, label, and stock inventory to ensure quality
- Keep track of all damaged inventory and report it to supervisor
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Perform daily forklift inspections
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or a combination of education and work experience
- Basic knowledge of using and operating warehouse equipment required
- Forklift experience is preferred, but not required
- Possesses a self-starter attitude
- Works well in a team environment
- Valid driver's license is required
- Ability to work overtime and weekend hours, as needed
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background investigation
