Job Description

As the General Manager, you will keep our hotel running smoothly, make sure everything is working well and all our guests are safe and comfortable. You'll maximize financial returns, driving the development of people, creating and maintaining a memorable guest experience, and executing brand standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financials to drive revenue and future profitability.
  • Establish performance and development goals for team members and provide mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to enhance performance.
  • Work with executive management, housekeeping, maintenance, restaurant, and sales to develop goals and operational objectives.
  • Demonstrate brand citizenship by maintaining compliance with all required brand and service standards.
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, colleagues, and hotel assets in compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for overall hotel guest satisfaction.
  • Interview, train, coach, counsel, and discipline according to hotel standards.
  • Remain current on all hotel information and changes.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of hotel experience as General Manager in a hospitality setting.
  • Experience in rooms and food and beverage in the hotel department.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Must be an extreme hands-on leader to promote a positive guest experience.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
  • Hands-on leader

Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Hotel management: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Hospitality: 1 year (Preferred)
  • US work authorization (Preferred)
