Administrative Assistant for Pet Company

Woofie's of McLean is looking to hire a part-time administrative assistant. This is a key position at Woofie’s, focused on Brand introduction in person while providing exceptional service to every customer. You will answer phone calls, e-mails, 2-way messaging, schedule customer appointments, greet customers and their dogs, and work with pet sitters and groomers side by side, in addition to promoting rebooking. Must be outgoing, self-motivated, and willing to talk with customers!

This position is remote but with the need for a candidate to possibly handle an emergency pet visit when needed in the McLean, Falls Church, or North Arlington areas.

• Customer service experience

We are looking for a compassionate pet person who is self-motivated and task-oriented!

Tasks:

• Drive pet sitting/mobile grooming scheduling
• Schedule leads for grooming appointments as well as pet-sitting and dog-walking clients
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, manage customer profiles and records
• Exceed customer expectations; Resolve customer concerns with management
• .Manage Outlook folders and communication
• Manage communication systems with pet sitters and mobile groomers
