Aquatic Staff:

• 8-35+ Hours Per Week
• Part-Time, Full-Time & Seasonal Hours currently available
• $17.00 - $21.00/hr starting rate based on experience
• Weekend availability required
• Weekly pay

Aqua-Tots is a year-round indoor swim school. We teach swim lessons all year, including the winter months! Our pool is heated to 90 degrees year-round with comfortable on deck temperatures as well! Great for summer lifeguards looking to stay active while the pools are closed, or those with childcare and/or teaching experience. However, those with the right personality are welcome to apply. An awesome work environment with summer and year-round positions, top-notch paid training, and pay depending on experience with room to grow.

Requirements

• Energetic, friendly, fun personality
• Ability to commute to both schools
• Willingness to learn
• Must be willing to work weekends
• Must have some Aquatic experience (Lifeguard, Swim Instructor, CPO, AFO)
• Must agree to our 90% attendance policy (in a 10-week period, be present 9 out of 10 weeks)
• Must be 18 or older

Preferred

• Candidates that are staying local to the area for at least a year (ideal for NOVA/GMU students or those out of school)
• Candidates that possess a minimum 1 year teaching experience
• Candidates with customer service and/or childcare experience

Hours & Shift Structure

• We operate on "set" schedules. Schedules are the same from week to week and can be adjusted by communicating with school leadership.
• Full Time and Part-time positions available
• Everyone is different and has different scheduling needs! Training schedules are flexible and may look different than permanent schedule. We will talk at length about your schedule to make sure it's sustainable and a good fit for you.
• Monday - Friday Operating Hours: 9:00 am-8:00 pm
• Saturday Operating Hours: 8:30 am-5:00 pm
• Sunday Operating Hours: 9:00 am-5:00 pm

Bonus

Certifications

We provide training for all necessary certifications. No previous certifications or experience necessary, just enthusiasm and willingness to learn!
