JOB DESCRIPTION
We're seeking a smart, analytical, collaborative team member with a passion for testing and supporting quality solutions that provide exceptional business value.
ESSENTIAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure delivery of high-quality solutions that align with business needs by developing and executing functional and regression test cases
- Collaborate with team members to resolve defects and improve delivered functionality
- Develop and implement test automation strategy, targeted at improving ability to quickly identify and address defects commonly found in regression testing.
- Be the voice of the customer by effectively escalating production issues and suggesting product improvements
- Leverage deep knowledge of our constantly evolving product suite to ensure that user feedback flows to product managers and developers, fueling innovation
- Investigate and resolve customer support requests, including system administration, defect analysis, and resolution
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
- Proficient in analytical and methodical troubleshooting, with a talent for defect isolation and clear reporting to facilitate prompt resolution.
- Skilled in white box testing, including SQL, GraphQL, and Salesforce, and experience with automated testing tools like Selenium and manual testing with detailed test plan creation.
- Capable of managing QA prioritization and production across all teams effectively.
- Familiarity with browser testing, performance evaluation, and debugging, encompassing handling of 200, 404, and 500 return codes.
- Demonstrated ability as a quick learner and passionate problem solver.
- Adaptable and thoughtful approach with a positive can-do attitude.
- Meticulous attention to detail, coupled with creativity, patience, and positivity.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of both collaborative and independent work, with effective prioritization abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, characterized by active listening and valuable team contributions.
- Proficiency in technical documentation using Confluence.
- Leadership experience in managing offshore QA teams.
- Exceptional time management skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience implementing test cases using automated testing tools
- Ability to write SQL statements to create, read, update, and delete data in relational databases
- 5+ years of experience translating business requirements into functional test cases, executing test cases, identifying defects, and facilitating issue resolution
- Understanding of functional and non-functional requirements and techniques used to define and measure associated quality
- Experience with a variety of modern browsers, devices, and platforms
- Prior experience creating scripts or applications with languages such as JavaScript, Perl, VB.net or C#
