If you are a dynamic, proactive Human Resources Professional who is looking to up your game and find meaningful but challenging ways to expand your skills, then OPSPro's HR Consultant opportunity is for you! OPSPro is currently looking to expand our HR team with someone who possesses strong attention to detail, understands basic HR core processes and procedures, and wants to make a difference in the field of HR with OPSPro clients. Under general direction, this role will be responsible for providing tactical generalist level support to OPSPro HR clients and internal HR operations, when necessary.


More specifically, this role will be involved in client delivery activities such as:

  • Executing transactional core HR processes for clients such as coordinating/presenting of new hire orientation, verification of employment, onboarding/offboarding activities, HRIS data entry, payroll change notifications, benefit administration, and internal communications with various departments.
  • Conducting research, gathering information through various methods to identify problematic situations, determine root cause, and provide information/recommendations to others on the HR team and/or clients.
  • Providing support and answering low to moderately complex aspects of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Administering employee benefit programs, leave of absences, and worker's compensation.
  • Creating and delivering HR related documents and forms in the areas of recruiting and hiring, performance management, training and development, benefit administration, and organizational communications.
  • Assisting with employee relations activities such as performance management counseling and exit interviews.
  • Managing helpdesk ticket system through identifying client inquiries and provide general feedback to client management and employees in a timely manner.
  • Monitoring compliance with applicable Federal, state, and local laws as well as company policies and procedures, notify managers of potential issues and propose corrective actions.
  • Assisting others on the HR delivery team with special projects such as HR-related audits, compensation review, open enrollment, hiring initiatives, training, policy and procedure development, compliance activities, and performance management.

If this sounds like you:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology, business administration or other applicable degree program; 2 years of experience can substitute for 1 year of education.
  • 5 years of experience in supporting business operations with a minimum of 3 years working in a Human Resources capacity.
  • Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to handle delicate situations with tact and grace.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing demands and deadlines.
  • Has an eye for the details and is dedicated to maintaining accuracy of the information provided.
  • Likes to work in fun environments that are team focused, but also can work independently on projects with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to take the initiative and be proactive in identifying key areas of collaboration with clients.
  • Can think outside the box and find solutions to client concerns of low to medium complexity.
  • Possess an analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities while finding creative solutions for clients.
  • Demonstrates a personal commitment to do "what's right" while always displaying integrity
