Summary:

Vermilion Hospitality provides the food and beverage for Loveland Living Planet Aquarium. The talented catering team brings their top tier service and management.


Position Overview:

This position is responsible for distribution of food and beverage items in a banquet setting and maintaining a clean and organized work area.


Job Summary:

A Catering Server is the direct contact with the guests, and it is the Catering Server's responsibility to ensure that all guest requests are fulfilled or filtered through your Catering Lead. The Catering Server has the responsibility to prepare stations prior to meal serving time to ensure that area is set according to Lead's specifications. The Catering Attendant is required to ensure that all food safety practices are adhered to by maintaining food items at proper temperature and served with appropriate utensils and keeping all displays of product appealing. During the serving period, timely and clear communication with kitchen staff and Leads is critical to ensure an adequate supply of inventory and control waste. Knowledge of the food items being served and the ingredients for each is a critical component to deliver excellent guest service. Clean up and break down of area after the event is required for all Catering Server's along with any closing tasks assigned by Catering Lead.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Flexibility and positive attitude
  • Ability to multi-task and troubleshoot in fast paced work environment
  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Must have a valid TEAM or TIP certification card *if 18 or older
  • Must be ServeSafe certified and have a Food Service Manager Card on file with and in your possession for each event worked
  • Must have a H.S Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to work with a group as well as independently
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis and be on feet for several hours
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, holidays, in extreme temperature fluctuations and around excessive noise
  • Other duties as assigned
