A professional position involving accounting duties for Community Health System Services including monthly closing process, financial statement preparation, AR duties, payroll duties, and annual audit support.

What you'll do:

• Daily cash management.
• Perform all payroll duties not performed by Paychex.
• Monthly assigned journal entries/bookkeeping.
• Monthly reconciliation of assigned bank accounts.
• Monthly NYS sales tax preparation and submission.
• Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Assistance with tax returns and YE 1099 forms.
• Building & improving processes around accounting functions.
• Other appropriate responsibilities not noted above.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education - Bachelor's degree in an accounting/business-related field

Experience - Minimum of one year of employment in an accounting/business environment

Licensure - N/A

Physical Requirements - 90% sitting 10% standing

Travel Requirements:

• Remote position with approximately 20% travel to Ithaca, New York as needed

Reporting Structure:

• Reports directly to the : Finance Manager
• No direct reports at this time

Salary Range:

• $65,000k-78,000k
