Compliance Administrative Support


JOB PROFILE LEVEL OVERVIEW:

Highly experienced professional with broad experience and unique knowledge. Able to act independently to resolve highly complex problems. Is committed to building upon their subject matter expertise to be regarded as a leader and expert in their field. May coordinate and guide the work of others.

JOB SUMMARY

This position's primary focus is to maintain the shared email inbox and ensure accuracy of client information, services, and deliveries into the Medcom Bridge tracking system.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of applicable service products and company policies and procedures
  • Maintain Agency, Brokers, and Employers to verify all information is correct and updated.
  • Maintain, update, and track document services and deliveries in compliance software.
  • Process, Enter, and file documents submitted and requested in compliance software.
  • Generates and provides proposals to brokers/clients.
  • Ensure Renewal services are processed properly with Medcom Bridge Tracking System. Maintain, update, and track document services and deliveries in compliance software to reflect steps that have been completed by Compliance Administrative Support.
  • Submit Bridge Report to Compliance Managers every Monday.
  • Oversee initial correspondence and maintain tracking for Nondiscrimination Testing services.
  • Follows up on Admin initiated correspondence to proceed with service.
  • Direct inquiries and requests to appropriate compliance staff
  • Attend Team Meetings and Trainings
  • Support the business plan and goals
  • May participate in business reviews to learn about customers' strategic direction as well as gain a good understanding of the products and/or services the client is offering.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of ERISA, Internal Revenue Code and Regulations and their application to defined contribution retirement plans
  • Comprehensive understanding of ERISA plan requirements and their application to 5500 filings
  • Will have communication with customers; may have some communication with plan sponsors
  • Be a subject matter expert to peers and customers
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Proficiency in standard office software, such as MS Office, etc.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements under ERISA
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingly shares relevant knowledge and expertise to other resources
  • Excels at working productively and independently
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, team, customer service and time management skills
  • Is resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas
