Cash Room Clerk

Dolly Parton's Stampede is seeking a responsible individual to work in the cash room.

Job description

Ensure proper deposit procedures for all departments. Also assist with recounting for accuracy of cash drawers after each cashier. Responsible for the safe and writing out change order.

Essential duties and responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Verify safe at shift change.
• Count change order.
• Distribute any banks that are needed to departments with cash registers.
• Must get along well with fellow employees and maintain a professional business relationship at all times.
• Must work at a rapid pace.
• Must help in other areas/departments as requested by management.
• Must maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance at the job.
• Must be able to resolve conflicts between employees.
• Complete check out procedures as listed below:

1. Verify all bank bags before putting them in the safe.
2. Recount all cash drawers for accuracy after each cashier.
3. Count and prepare all deposits including deposit slips for bank.
4. Count safe and write out change order.
5. Input all information from departments as employees come to cash out.
6. Print All required reports with information required for Accounting Department.
7. Print summaries for Ticket Sales and input information.
8. Run Summary reports once everyone is checked out.
9. Process overages and shortages.
