Job Title: Contracts Administrator

Location: Leesburg, VA / Hybrid

Clearance: Eligibility to obtain DoD Secret Clearance

Summary

We deliver essential technology services to our customers in support of their missions to sustain the national security and economic interests of our nation. SecuriGence is seeking a Contracts Administrator to help contribute to our success. The ideal candidate should have experience with U.S. Government (FAR / DFARS) contracting. Come help us solve problems with Innovation Through Intelligence.

Duties

  • Manage a variety of DoD prime contracts and subcontracts (T&M, FFP, CPFF, IDIQ, and Master Service Agreements).
  • Support submission of offers to customers helping to ensure offers are compliant with company policy and solicitation requirements.
  • Issue and manage Purchase Orders for program requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions.
  • Establish and maintain complete, well-organized contract files.
  • Advise Program Managers and others regarding contractual rights and obligations - provide interpretation of contract terms and conditions and applicable regulations.
  • Submit CDRLs and contract deliverables - maintain deliverables tracking log.
  • Prepare and submit contractual correspondence, notifications, and change proposals.
  • Identify risks or areas of potential dispute to management and present plans for mitigation and resolution of issues Support Program Kick-Off and Closeout activities.
  • Provide timely responses and balance competing priorities to assess and drive issues to closure.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions; support internal reporting and metrics; share new information and provide backup and assistance to other teammates when needed.
  • Exhibit honesty, integrity, responsibility, commitment to excellence, customer focus and attention to detail.

Skills and Experience:

  • Understanding of contract principles, Federal and DoD acquisition regulations, accounting practices, and general business knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to accurately document and present information to a variety of audiences.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills are essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and lead teammates and customers are strongly desired.

Qualifications

  • Four years of experience administering DoD contracts. Experience in pricing, purchasing, subcontracts, and/or program finance may also be considered.
  • Bachelor's degree. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
  • Travel up to 10% may be required.
  • Unanet experience is a plus.
  • NCMA CFCM certification is a plus.
