Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Long Term Care Job Overview:
  • Nursing - Long Term Care facility providing long-term medical care or persons who also require treatment/supervision of mental illnessThe facility delivers excellent care for those with long-term healthcare needs, and offers caregivers the opportunity to serve those who need it most at Western State Nursing
  • Assist residents in personal hygiene such as bathing, dental, hair, and nail care
  • Observe and report skin breakdown
  • Assist residents with daily activities
  • Collect specimens for lab analysis
  • Situate bedfast residents in correct and comfortable positions
  • Aid residents in preparation for activities and programs
  • Record data as directed

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Qualifications:
  • Graduate of a Medicaid approved nursing assistant program and hold a certificate of completion.

  • Kentucky State Registered Nurse Aide

  • Ability to pass facility requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
