A day in the Life of an IT Support Specialist

IT Support Specialists are responsible for managing and maintaining Fox Pest Control's hardware and software for their information technology systems. They communicate through face-to-face, phone, and ticket system interactions and train new IT team members.

Essential Functions:

• Communicate with employees and customers to ensure satisfaction and discuss additional services that meet their needs
• Troubleshoot technology problems with client groups to ensure satisfaction and operation of technology
• Complete daily tasks such as completing IT tickets
• Collaborate on challenging projects to support the growth of the IT Department
• Establish and maintain positive customer/coworker relationships
• Manage various sites, applications, and software used by Fox team members

Education and Experience

• CompTIA A+ Certification
• IT helpdesk experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• G Suite
• Understanding of basic troubleshooting theory
• Microsoft
• PestRoutes Software
• Familiarity with Parts and functions of CPU, RAM, and hard drives, etc.
• Own a Smartphone
• Software Administration
