JOB SUMMARY

Are you looking to be part of the NOC family as you help to welcome our guests to the outpost? You may be the ideal candidate for our open parking lot van driver position. You will be responsible to assist with shuttling guest and NOC staff around the NOC Wesser campus and staff housing in Bryson City, NC. You should be friendly and have outstanding customer service skills. You will work with other attendants to provide a secure and safe facility for guests.

This seasonal/part time, hourly position is from April 2024 - September 2024.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe experience for Guest / NOC staff in NOC Vans.
  • Keep up to date daily vehicle inspections.
  • Keep the Van clean and tidy.
  • Wash Vehicle as needed.
  • Provide general knowledge of NOC offerings and operations, as well as general directions and information about the area.
  • Provide necessary documentation to management as needed.
  • Perform all duties in variable weather conditions.
  • Assist in general parking guide duties if requested.

Qualifications

Required

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a clean driving record.
  • Must have superior guest service skills and high awareness for safety.
  • Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with a team.
  • Sound decision making skills and judgement.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • Able to carry up to 30lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop and twist.
  • Comfortable working in various climates ( heat, cold, wind, rain).
