What does a Digital Onboarding Specialist do?

As a Digital Onboarding Specialist at Mercantile Bank, you will play a vital role in overseeing and managing all onboarding software platforms. This includes serving as a system admin for various integrated platforms, ensuring seamless support for upgrades, releases, and change controls. You will act as the first line of defense in troubleshooting platform-related issues, collaborating with vendor support for swift resolutions. Passionate about digital innovation, you will serve as a digital ambassador both internally and externally, providing training and support to stakeholders.

Your strategic input will be crucial in developing a proactive roadmap for enhancing the digital onboarding experience. What we're looking for in a Digital Onboarding Specialist

To excel as a Digital Onboarding Specialist at Mercantile Bank, you should possess a deep understanding of software management, project management, and business analytics. Proficiency in a variety of technologies including computers, smartphones, and tablets is essential for success in this role. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills will enable you to effectively liaise with stakeholders and vendors. Candidates with a two-year college degree, specialized certification, completion of vendor training courses, or relevant job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program are encouraged to apply. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • In-depth knowledge of software management, troubleshooting, project management, and business analytics
  • Proficient in computers, smartphones, tablets, and other technologies
  • 1-2 years of IT or a related technology field experience or a degree in a technology focused area
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skill
  • (1) A two-year college degree or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing or 3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
SCHEDULE

Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. The first couple months will be fully in office while learning and getting your feet wet. After the training period this position can work from home 2-3 days a week.
