Harney District Hospital is looking to hire Registered Nurses for full time, night shift coverage. Full time equates to three 12-hour shifts per week and night shifts are from 7:00pm-7:00am. Our hourly nursing rates start at $39.02 an hour and increase based on experience. We also offer a night shift differential of $4.25 an hour.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: Thorough knowledge of professional nursing principles and practices and license limitations. Knowledge of mathematics to include basic algebra and geometry, and computer and keyboard operations. Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations. Ability to write medical reports and procedures. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, or any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the above duties.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/LICENSES: Possession of a current Registered Nurse license within the State of Oregon, or ability to acquire by the time of appointment. Must possess; CPR/BLS, ACLS, within one year; NRP, ENCP/PALS and TNCC certification as soon as available per schedule of nurse educator but within the first two years of employment.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS: At least one year (1) of nursing experience. Possession of ACLS, TNCC at time of appointment. Possession of PALS at time of appointment or within one (1) year of appointment. Previous nursing experience in a Rural Critical Access hospital.
