Position Overview:
The Chief Digital Officer (CDO) will lead our digital transformation journey by driving technological innovation and integration in our lab processes. This position will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our digital capabilities are at the forefront of the dental industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Craft a clear digital vision and develop an aligned digital strategy for the organization. Identify and evaluate the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques.
- Digital Workflow Management: Oversee the CAD/CAM design process, ensuring precision, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO and other department heads to integrate digital processes seamlessly across the lab.
- Research & Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning. Assess, pilot, and integrate new digital tools and software into our workflows.
- Team Development: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing digital design team. Ensure team members receive ongoing training to remain at the forefront of industry advancements.
- Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with technology and equipment vendors, ensuring the organization gets the best value and is up-to-date with the latest offerings.
- Digital Infrastructure: Ensure the security, and scalability of our digital platforms and tools.
- Operational Excellence: Streamline operational processes through technology, ensuring the best use of resources and time.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 10+ years of experience in digital design, with a specific focus on CAD/CAM technologies in the dental industry.
- Proven experience in leading digital transformation initiatives in a laboratory or manufacturing setting.
- Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and drive a team towards excellence.
- Comprehensive understanding of digital design software, milling machines, 3D printers, and other digital fabrication tools.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Knowledge of digital security and data protection best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.
