Job Description
As a Service Operations Manager at ElitAire, you will manage a team of service technicians to maximize customer satisfaction and improve productivity and profitability. You will effectively recruit, develop, and retain employees with a high level of focus on safety. Ensure overall operational excellence and service growth. Other responsibilities include:
- Lead ElitAire safety program for technician team, monitor compliance with job site safety, safety training, safety documentation, auditing, and reporting
- Coordinate technician factory OEM training, and train new employees
- Review work orders, pre-invoice reports, service invoices
- Establish project timelines, communicates with customers, and coordinate project schedule
- Manage projects, assign personnel, oversee ordering of equipment and material
- Ensures that maintenance contract commitments are fulfilled, and inspections completed on time
- Provides input to Service Coordinator on scheduling activity of technicians
- Work with Service Sales Representative and District Manager to resolve customer issues, including customer visits
- Oversee assigned service vehicles, monitor vehicles to ensure they are being maintained and operated as required and used according to company policy
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter that will interact effectively as a member of a team and work collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks and work under pressure, and be flexible and willing to assist as needed. Additionally, this candidate will have:
- 5 years of HVAC industry experience in a leadership role
- HVAC technical/industry knowledge a must
- Experience and desire to build and maintain a culture of safety
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple project simultaneously
- A driven and team-player attitude with strong communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Office 365: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams)
- Experience using an ERP platform highly desirable
