Engineering Co-Op (Summer Term)

The Role:

As an Engineering Co-Op, you will be responsible for assisting engineers and technicians in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems and processes. Your role will involve supporting various stages of projects, including working with the Industrial Data Center team setting up virtualization infrastructures, PMO team supporting production coordination, and work with the MI team working on SCADA/HMI delivery systems.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Deploy, optimize and maintain SCADA software and hardware using developed procedures

• Complete quality documentation and track project details

• Provide clients with technical support utilizing a ticketing system

• Optimize applications by integrating new technologies and performing upgrades

• Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshooting procedures

• Generate ideas for software innovation based on market trends

• Document development processes, procedures and application version histories

• Keep up with advancements in application engineering and new technologies

• Other duties as assigned

About you:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems etc.)

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

• Excited to learn to adapt to changing priorities involving multiple stakeholders in a rapidly growing organization.

This Co-op/Internship program will run approximately from Monday, May 27th, 2024 through to Friday, August 30th, 2024
