Career Title: Strategic Outcomes and Integration Director

Department: Chief Operating Officer

Salary Hiring Range: $125,000-140,000 annually (paid bi-weekly)

NOTE: Competitive salary commensurate with experience

FLSA: Exempt

Career Summary:

The American Nurses Association Enterprise (ANAE) is seeking to hire a Director that will be focused on assessing, strategizing, and evolving Operational Excellence across the ANAE. By identifying opportunities to improve and / or create new operational priorities across the enterprise that may be currently untapped or not fully utilized, you will gather knowledge of the Enterprise’s evolving strategic goals and desired outcomes, align them with marketplace knowledge and competition, and ensure feedback flows to drive increased integration and improve outcomes. You will also be experienced at leveraging data and other sources of feedback to identify increased efficiencies and effectiveness for ANAE products and services.

You will be a proven change management leader and bridge between the ANAE’s Operations teams and internal business partners, as well as marketing, sales, legal, compliance and other business functions, focusing on opportunities for increased customer satisfaction, integration, operational readiness and customer self-service, while facilitating insights to assist in driving improvements toward achieving Enterprise Strategic Plan goals and objectives.

As Director, you will need to deeply care about the ANAE mission and values, and its impact on customer experience, by developing clear data driven hypotheses for potential improvements, and crafting a strategy to influence the implementation of recommendations.


Key Responsibilities/What You Will Do:

You will identify, design, and pilot efforts that reflect the intent of advanced change and integration, initially with those that pertain to internal operations (i.e., identifying and quantifying Strategic Plan reporting results for internal and executive management audiences, project, and financial management, diversity, equity, and inclusion within service targeting and delivery).

You will work collaboratively in a matrixed and consultative role across multiple Enterprise Programs. You will support departments by helping them envision integration projects, develop and incubate pilots, modify them based on results, enhance them as needed, and fully integrate them within the Enterprise to ensure long-term success in impacting the outcomes and goals of the ANAE.

Qualifications:

• Business, project/product, or equivalent undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree

• MBA preferred

• 10+ years relevant work experience driving Operational Excellence

• Spearheaded proven change management initiatives, project management and creation of business cases, conceiving new ideas and projects through to successful launch, data analyses and reporting

• Non-profit professional association experience preferred or related for-profit of comparable size and target audience

• Successfully navigated matrixed environments with varied relationships, and influential management experience

• Competitive and market analyses

• Exceptional financial budgeting experience, reporting and analyses

• Ability to ideate and innovate to create opportunities and deliver desired outcomes

• Creative, resilient, self-starter, independent, with the ability to listen to customers’ pain points, wants and needs and translate into action and satisfactory results

• Exception skill level in Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)


Work Schedule:

Hybrid: Employees are required to work a minimum of 20% in an ANA office.
