Position Summary:
Truly Free is seeking a Team Member in our Shipping and Receiving Department to join our fast-paced, dedicated, and extremely talented team. This person is responsible for the accurate and timely shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
Role and Responsibilities:Receives orders from the order desk and retrieves goods from the warehouse.
Checks packing list for accuracy and inspects received goods.
Delivers materials to the packing desk for packing and updates the computer ordering system.
Use a forklift or pallet jack to load and unload trucks.
Uses a forklift to pull orders when needed.
Follows safety rules for the warehouse when picking an order.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Work Environment:
Often work in indoor environments, such as a warehouse.
Work closely with other people
Supportive managers and co-workers in an overall healthy environmentQualifications and Requirements:Strong attention to detail is a must
Good written and verbal communication skills
Basic computer knowledge
Physical Demands:Must be able to lift up to 50 poundsProlonged periods standing
Occasionally working on a computer.
Preferred Skills:
Forklift Experience
Excellent record-keeping skills
A strong work ethic and hands-on approach
Ability to prioritize workload
An understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
