Burial Vault Production/Delivery Associate - The Fort Miller Service Corp.

The Fort Miller Service Corp. has a full time opening for someone in production who will assist in the manufacture of concrete burial vaults. The duties of the Production Associate will include the set up and preparation of forms, pouring and finishing of concrete, and the stripping of forms. General housekeeping such as sweeping, cleaning and putting away tools is also required.

In addition, this position will also be trained to deliver burial vaults and service funerals as needed. This will require setting up the graveside with grass, lowering device and tents as well as assisting the funeral director during the service if needed (carrying flowers, shoveling a path to the grave during the winter months, etc.).

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a clean and valid license and have a neat physical appearance.
• The ability to work with concrete, epoxy glues and other chemicals used in the manufacturing process.
• The ability to perform heavy physical labor in varying weather conditions, lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• The ability to understand common measurements of length.
• The ability to withstand exposure to diesel fumes, extreme temperatures, form oil/concrete and epoxy/glue.
• The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends.
• Ability to access equipment at various levels by reaching or climbing a ladder, bend over, walk, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and work safely.
