PMG is looking for a Senior Director of Engineering to help transform the marketing industry and support the move to a more privacy focused world. In this role you will be leading an engineering group that tackles some of the biggest problems in the industry using large amounts of data and helps teams build faster.

In this role you will be building a best in class engineering department to create and evolve features of PMG's enterprise grade SaaS platform, Alli. Role is based in Dallas, Texas

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields
  • 10+ years software engineering experience
  • 5+ years managing and leading highly productive cross functional engineering teams
  • Be able to explain complex engineering concepts to external stakeholders
  • Proven track record of having performance related conversations with employees and create actionable plans on supporting engineering career growth
  • Experience leading teams with both micro-service and monolithically applications
  • Experience with AWS / Google Cloud cost analysis and billing
  • Experience with team design and growing teams with agility

Preferred but not required

  • Experience working in the ad tech industry, specifically with advertising platforms, demand-side platforms (DSPs), or supply-side platforms (SSPs).
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and data analysis techniques for optimizing ad targeting and performance.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies, such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery or Snowflake.
  • Active participation in industry events, conferences, and open-source communities.
  • Managing large spend from cloud partners such as AWS, and effectively optimizing costs.
