National is a leading wholesale provider of used railroad ties and new railroad ties and other treated hardwood railroad track products, as well as recycled utility poles.

National is seeking to hire an Equipment Operator to join our team in Iuka, Mississippi.

Job Classification:

  • Non-Exempt
  • Daytime Hours
  • Monday – Saturday
  • Minimal Travel

Essential Job Functions:

  • Operating skid steers and front-end loaders, and Grapple Trucks
  • Loading and unloading ties in a fast-paced environment
  • Power tool and equipment operation
  • Collaboration with team members in a structured environment
  • Consistent and accurate work quality
  • Filling out daily paperwork and working independently
  • Wearing personal protective equipment is required at all times
  • All candidates must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen

Qualifications:

  • Able to work long hours in all weather conditions, work some Saturdays
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Completely and accurately fill out daily paperwork
  • Basic mechanical knowledge
  • Follow all Safety Programs, Policies, and Procedures
  • Physical Requirements: Stand, Walk, Climb, Bend, Twist, Move Throughout the Day, Use Hands in Repetitive Motions, Repeat Same Movements, walk on uneven terrain, Lift 50 pounds, and Exposed to Loud Noises. You will be exposed to all weather elements.
