Operations Assistant - Day Shift (Casual / On Call)

Position Title: Operations Assistant - Day Shift (7am start time)

Department: Operations

Position reports to: Delivery Manager

Primary purpose and function of position: This is an on-call position. Responsible for being a helper on a delivery truck or to deliver product or operate a Non-CDL vehicle and deliver product to retailers. This position could also be merchandising accounts.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Unload product from delivery vehicle and deliver into accounts
• Rotate product in accounts based on freshness dates
• Comply with all Grey Eagle and supplier standards and policies
• Adhere to all Federal, State and Local liquor regulations
• Work as a Merchandiser as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and requirements:

• High school diploma or GED certificate required
• Class E Driver's License required (Can obtain this within 30 days of employment)
• Experience of using a two (2) wheel hand truck preferred
• Regular and reliable attendance required
• Delivery experience preferred
• Highly self-motivated with a positive attitude
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to safely operate job related equipment
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the job including, but not limited to: repetitively handling cases of beer, reaching above head height, climbing, bending, twisting, squatting and kneeling
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push or pull package product weighing 50 plus pounds
• Ability to pass a required pre-employment physical, background and drug screening
• Ability to perform all essential job functions and duties as assigned
