Spring Arbor Senior Living of Leesburg, VA is seeking a hardworking, dependable, and detail-oriented Transportation Assistant for our Assisted Living team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO!

  • Transport residents according to an established schedule
  • Assist residents in & out of vehicle using wheelchair lift as needed.
  • Accurately maintain required transportation records/logs
  • Maintain vehicle as necessary (fill with gas, clean, notify Maintenance Director of problems or needed repairs)

  • Collect, clean and distribute residents’ linens in a timely, organized manner to ensure that residents’ laundry and linen needs are met.
  • Occasionally clean, dust, vacuum, empty trash and wash windows in the resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas in the community
  • Ensure linens and resident clothing are handled, processed, and stored so as to control the spread of infection or disease.

  • Valid driver's license with safe driving record
  • 21 years of age
  • Previous driving experience
  • Patience and desire to work with seniors
  • Dependable
  • Pleasant, friendly, and helpful at all times ensuring proper and timely service
  • Ability to learn tasks and follow written and oral instructions
