The primary objective of Rental Porter is to pull rental forklifts for loading to send to customer. Along with unloading new equipment being deliver to the dealership. Additional duties include general cleaning of work area and moving of equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting the rental department in a fast-paced forklift dealership environment.
• Staging of equipment for rental deliveries.
• Unloading of new equipment deliveries
• Moving equipment as needed
• General cleaning of the rental area
• Assisting drivers with deliveries.
• Helping the shop prioritize rental repairs.

To qualify for this role, you must be able to operate a forklift and/or warehouse equipment, communicate effectively with management and customers, possess strong teamwork skills and the ability to multi-task, as well as the following requirements:

• Ability to pass a background check.
• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• Intermediate computer skills required.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.
• Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others using spoken word.
• Ability to take care of the customers' needs while following company procedures.
• Available for overtime when assigned and/or required

Work Environment

The work is performed in various locations including warehouses. Employees may work with co-workers’ side-by-side with a moderate level of activity being performed. Exposure to high voltage AC/DC power is very common in many work environments. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to high.
