Summary:

We are searching for a Oracle Federal Financials Senior SME to join our team and support our client, NIST, based in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The position will be hybrid and require one day weekly on-site in Gaithersburg, Maryland. This hybrid schedule may change based on client needs.


Location:

Gaithersburg, Maryland


Hours:

Hybrid position with core hours 8-5 M-F. Specific on-site vs remote schedule will shift based on customer needs however the position has historically targeted an average of 1d on-site and 4d remote weekly.


Education:

BA/BS Degree In Business, Accounting, Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent (additional 3y relevant experience)


Clearance Required:

Requires ability to pass NIST background check and meet the residency requirement for having resided in the US at least (3) three out of the last (5) five years.


Experience:

Minimum 10y of applicable consulting or industry experience


Skills (Required; Position Specific):

  • Minimum of 8y experience with Oracle Federal Financials and 8y of experience implementing, supporting, and developing in an Oracle Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) environment.
  • Possess complete knowledge of Oracle ERP applications R12, R11.5.10, 11.5.9, and modules Federal Financials (FV), General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payables (AP), Accounts Receivables (AR), Purchasing (PO), Projects (PA), System Administration, Application Object Library, and understanding of Sub-ledger accounting (SLA)
  • Technical and functional experience in Oracle EBS Release 12.
  • Working with team members, as needed, to scope, design, develop, test, implement, support, and enhance Oracle EBS.

Skills (Required; General):

  • Ability to plan and manage workload.
  • Ability to work independently under limited to no supervision.
  • Demonstrable problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task and work independently or in a team.
  • Able to communicate technical issues in a straightforward and concise manner.
  • Must be able to effectively prioritize work.

Skills (Preferred):

  • Experience in a Federal environment
  • Prior Public Trust or higher clearance
  • Automated testing experience


Communication:


Able to communicate and document clearly and have the ability to support functional and technical team members through strong inter-personal communications including email, teleconference, phone, and in-person.
