A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CUSTOMER SALES SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE

The Customer Sales Support Representative plays a vital role in supporting our customers and the Territory Sales Department by providing exceptional customer service.

CUSTOMER SALES SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Responsible for maintaining the daily customer experience within the Territory Sales Team.
  • Expected to foster and grow professional relationships with assigned customers and sales consultants.
  • Assist the sales team with monitoring and processing customer orders to ensure they are placed by the order deadline.
  • Issues direct credits or return authorizations upon customer or sales consultants request per the product return policy.
  • Communicate out of stock items and offer substitute solutions to customers per Sales Consultants direction.
  • Investigate customer orders, problems and/or complaints for successful resolution.
  • Monitor internal and external email communications and perform the requisite actions.
  • Communicate frequently with internal departments to help resolve service issues as they arise to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Work effectively in a team environment to meet business goals and objectives.

SALES SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Associate or bachelor's Degree a plus.
  • One-two years' experience in inside sales, sales support, or account management.
  • Must be a forward thinker and be able to work independently.
  • Must work effectively in a team environment to meet business goals and objectives.
  • Possesses a high level of attention to detail.
  • Exhibits the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedural manuals, work instructions and write correspondence through email with appropriate spelling, grammar, punctuation, and language
  • Ability to type 45-50 wpm accurately
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Business Management Systems, Acumatica a plus.

WORK SCHEDULE M-F 9:00AM-5:00PM and Sunday rotation. Must be able to work Sundays when assigned. Travel is minimal with most contact with customers by phone and email correspondence.
