The Garrett Group is seeking a mid-level ISR specialist in Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) support for the Joint Staff ISR planning support mission.

Experience: Minimum 6 years in reach-back/distributed Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) planning and execution within a Service intelligence organization or at the Combatant Command/JS level.

Duties and Responsibilities:

As an ISR Planning and Execution Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) functions. Your responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating in the development of comprehensive ISR allocation recommendations within the GFM process, identifying PED capability, capacity, planning factors, and proposing sourcing courses of action.
  • Providing PED inputs, such as communications architecture and tasked exploitation crews/nodes, into the planning and allocation of ISR resources.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the status of all applicable DoD PED equipment, nodes, and units.
  • Ensuring alignment of PED activities with Combatant Command execution of ISR allocation and maintaining PED situational awareness.
  • Responding to PED Requests for Information (RFIs) and addressing PED management issues.
  • Coordinating regularly with Military Services, Combatant Command, Combat Support Agencies (CSAs), Allies/Partners, and the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) on PED-related matters.
  • Supporting PED meetings and senior forums, including the Quarterly J-32 PED Working Group, OUSD(I)/Services Joint PED Summit, and associated O-6/AO Working/Small Groups, as well as any GFM meetings with PED equities.

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in reach-back/distributed PED planning and execution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, and Access.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills for developing and presenting complex written products and briefings to senior leaders at O6 and GS-15/SES and higher levels.
