Accumark has an opportunity for a Field Technician crew member with instrument experience to join our team working out of the Sterling, VA office.

Your Responsibilities as a Field Technician:

  • Assist utility designation crews:
  • Pneumatic digging
  • Data collection and documentation
  • Tool & equipment Maintenance
  • Safety protocols
  • Tool and equipment maintenance
  • Misc. tasks as assigned

What We Need from You (Our Requirements):

  • Willingness to learn – Instructor led training is required to receive locator certification.
  • Ability to drive local roads, work outdoors, and to operate independently
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to use computer to complete documentation and receive and send email
  • Must be physically able to work a 10-hour day in cold, hot, and wet environments.
  • A four day / 10 hour a day work week is standard. Occasional overtime and 5- or 6-day work weeks can be required.
