Job Description
For 75 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County have been opening doors of opportunity and preparing young people for a Great Future. Join our team and build a career around making a difference in the lives of kids! We create an environment in which every member's input is valued and respected.

The Boys & Girls Club of Whatcom County Licensed Care facilities are looking for Lead Teachers! Do you find yourself drawn to positively contributing to today's youth at the earliest stages of development through play, have experience working with children, and have energy to engage with kids throughout their day?

Ideal candidates will have one year minimum of experience within the infant through school age range. Teachers must have experience planning, implementing and evaluating activity plans to meet children's varying needs. They also must enjoy spending time outdoors (rain and shine!) and maintaining a calm environment with energetic play throughout the day. This is a collaborative teaching environment; therefore, this person must possess the desire and communication skills necessary to work as part of a team. We are looking for people passionate about enriching the lives of our youth at the earliest stages of development, who can foster relationships with their community, and are looking for a village to call their own.
