INTRODUCTION TO ROLE

The ticket booth attendant regulates guests’ entry into and out of the water park. Work is performed under the general supervision of Attractions Management.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As the Ticket Booth Attendant, you are safety-minded and focused, with strong attention to detail. Work well under pressure and in high-stress situations. You will need to be alert and focused on tasks for long periods. You possess excellent communication skills.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Greet guests with a professional demeanor and accurately answer questions.
  • Ensure that Campground guests are wearing wristbands to enter the Water Park.
  • Explain ticket types to paying customers, sell appropriate group or individual tickets, and receive cash or process credit card transactions.
  • Clean and organize Water Park Cabanas, ensuring they are kept to high standards.
  • Sell Water Park Cabanas to guests interested in renting them.
  • Ensure all cash handling procedures, processes, and standards are always adhered to.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and surrounding areas according to operating guidelines.
  • Engage all guests in a friendly manner while focusing on safety and security.
  • Work with guests to optimize their visit with additional products and services as appropriate.
  • Interact with concerned guests to discern their needs and see through to proper resolution.
  • Troubleshoot various problems the guest may encounter, including the loss of personal belongings or other property, missing persons, etc.
  • Assist water park management with the delivery of incident reports to the scene.
  • Assist guests with all locker issues.
  • Other duties as assigned by water park management.

  • Must be 15 years of age or older
  • Basic Cashier skills
  • 100% attendance of training session
  • Capabilities to sit for long periods
  • Must be able to communicate with staff and guests clearly

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee must frequently lift or move items over fifty pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The hospitality environment is fast-paced, and at times you may be required to cover or assist with tasks/job functions outside of the job you were hired for. We require each of our team members to have an All-Hands-On-Deck mindset. This means you may be tasked with other functions and are expected to complete those tasks with the same level of enthusiasm and dedication as expected with your normal job duties.
