SMX is seeking Full Time Front Desk Concierge for our Herndon, VA facility to join SMX to support and assist our employees, guests, and clients. This role will include direct support to Corporate Security, IT and CGO departments. This role will be 100% onsite in Herndon, VA.

Responsibilities Include:

Safety & Security support:

* Greet and assist all onsite and visiting personnel, guests, and clients

* Manage access control processes, maintain electronic visitor logs, and perform identification review

* Ensure all employees and visitors have the parking garage guidance and proper parking permit

* Serve as a local point of contact for after hour alarms and requirements

* Coordinate with the SMX Facilities department to report and solve office maintenance issues

* Perform audits on access control software and work directly with other Security personnel to ensure level accuracy of access control devices

* Ensure conference rooms are maintained, stocked and ready to use

* Guide out of town guests with local information and accommodations

* Support events with IT needs, catering and housekeeping needs

* Post office (USPS) & UPS/Fed Ex duties as needed

* Maintain and order inventory and stock on all office supplies and kitchen areas

* Basic knowledge of safety protocol, evacuation process and inventory control working directly with the Facilities Department to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations

* Perform onboarding, internal transfer, and termination tasks for the Security department

* Complete daily perimeter security checks and security checklist

* Data entry/detail oriented with strong ability to multitask and focus on tasking during high volume periods

* O365 experience (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Teams)

* Process Service Now tickets to fulfill employee requests and needs

* Monitor and approve conference room reservations in Outlook

IT Support

* Basic IT support such as guidance for printer mapping and connecting to Wi-Fi

* Familiarity with physical, network and software security fundamentals

* Basic knowledge of IT risk mitigation and threat analysis strategies

* Experience with setting up and troubleshooting of Audio/Video Equipment

* Experience with VoIP and phone systems

* Basic knowledge of installing and configuring computer hardware/software

Proposal Support

* Provide support to proposal teams both employee and consultants for coordinating menus and pre-ordering of meals for catered events; ensuring meals arrive accurately and timely

* Ensure proposal teams have the required access (including parking, building and SMX Suite access) for the proposal effort period to include afterhours availability for both SMX and non SMX personnel

* Ensure various snacks and drinks are refreshed and perform meal set up /clean up each day

* Coordinate ad hoc special requests with proposal POC throughout the proposal effort

* Coordinate with Proposal POC to ensure required office supplies required are ordered and on site throughout the proposal effort

* Work directly with the Proposal POC to ensure all requirements are met to support a seamless and stress-free proposal environment

Required Skills and Experience:

* Clearance: None to start, but ability to obtain and retain DoD secret clearance

* Minimum of 5 years' proven experience in an office administrative or help desk setting

* Microsoft Office 365 experience (Excel/Word/Power Point/TEAMS)

* Clear verbal, written and comprehension skills. Ability to comprehend policies and processes

* Self-driven and independent learner

* Proven ability to multi-task and remain focused under pressure during busy periods

* Ability to meet deadlines

* Professional and hospitable demeanor and appearance

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during the workday while remaining communicative with a remote team and reporting to supervisor on tasking and status

* Excellent Customer service experience with an emphasis on a delightful user experience of the SMX office

Desired Skills

* CDSE/STEP Security course certifications

* Admin Experience with DISS/SWFT/NISS/NBIS

* Admin Experience with SIMS and/or C-CURE 9000/Datawatch- Access control software

* Experience working in helpdesk fulfillment system such as ServiceNow

* Experience with Amazon Workspace setup, access, and daily use

* Comprehension and awareness of the purpose and use of 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM

* CompTIA IT Fundamentals
