Description

Basic Function: Lead, Manage, Support, and Train the senior Account Executives towards meeting and exceeding corporate goals related to revenue and profit growth. This includes, but is not limited to, meeting with each AE on a regular basis to review their performance to forecast and to identify training and additional support that is necessary to assist each AE in their efforts to achieve their sales goal.

Responsibilities:
  • Counsel with each Account Executive that has been assigned to establish a sales forecast that aligns with corporate growth objectives.
  • Meeting on a regular basis with each assigned Account Executive to review performance to forecast.
  • Provide training, strategic guidance and other support necessary to assist each Account Executive in meeting their targeted sales and profitability goals.
  • Participate as a member of the Executive Sales Council. Supporting the council's objectives of training, communication, alignment of the sales team with corporate priorities and the development of strategic go-to-market strategies.
  • Hold Account Executives accountable to corporate rules and polices and appropriately and in a timely manner direct, correct and discipline Account Executives when necessary.
  • Review, manage and approve PTO requests for the Alpha team.
  • Work to produce the highest level of measurable output from the sales personnel under your direction.
  • Source out new customers and sales opportunities.
  • Travel to customer locations to present company products, services and pricing information in a professional manner.
  • Ensure a company profile is created for each customer.
  • Assist in creating trip summaries for each customer visit upon completion.
  • Help build strong relationships with customer and assist in increasing sales volume.
  • Make sure all customer visits are coordinated with assigned Sales Executive.
  • Oversee customer inquiries and ensure follow up procedures are performed. This is to include providing new product information and receiving feedback regarding company products and services.
  • Follow up with sales leads generated through incoming calls, advertising campaigns and other promotional efforts.
  • Apply technical knowledge of company products and services to best meet customer needs.
  • Maintain appropriate records for the development of sales forecasts for each customer.
  • Understand and support company sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective service to all customers and foster the development of long-term business relationships.
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints in a timely manner, notifies management of problems and suggests corrective actions.
  • Collects and reports competitive information to management.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Attend training activities and trade shows on behalf of company to present information regarding company products and services.
  • Ensure team members submit appropriate paperwork to management such as expense reports and call reports in accordance with training procedures. Trip Reports should be copied to the Account Executive, CEO, COO, VP of Global Sales and other parties as deemed appropriate.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of experience.
  • Strong written, technical, and oral communication skills.
  • Negotiation Skills.
  • Organization, planning, and time management skills.
  • Customer Service and Customer Relations.
  • Presentation.
  • Professionalism.
  • Basic Math Aptitude.
