Capital Markets Project Manager - VMO - Full-time / Part-time

We're looking for a seasoned Project/Program Manager (PPM) to take ownership of self-identified projects within the Security Operations portfolio of one of our leading financial clients.

Location: Charlotte, NC
Schedule: Hybrid - 3 days in office
Duration: 10 months contract
Pay Rate: $62- $67/hr on W2
What You'll Do:

• You'll be leading projects from kickoff to successful delivery, collaborating with various security and technology teams.
• Leverage your Agile expertise to write user stories, prioritize tasks, and keep everyone on track using Jira and other internal tools (Confluence, PowerPoint).
• Ensure clear communication by capturing meeting minutes, writing test scripts, and providing status updates to senior leadership.
• This role is business-facing, focusing on translating security needs into actionable requirements. Don't worry, you won't get bogged down in the technical weeds!

• 8+ years of experience leading projects or initiatives in Banking/Capital Markets/Investment Banking.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and a knack for writing user stories.
• Proficiency in Jira and a willingness to learn other internal tools.
• A proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with senior leadership.

• Experience writing test scripts and executing UAT.
• A history of sticking with projects for the long haul.

This is not a heavily technical role. We value your leadership, communication, and business acumen more than deep technical knowledge.
