Responsibilities

San Marcos Treatment Center, a 212-bed, seclusion free, psychiatric residential treatment facility located between Austin and San Antonio in the heart of Central Texas! San Marcos spreads across 65-acres with an abundance of trees and wildlife. We have 13 unique living units separated by gender, age, and development levels with two swimming pools, two gymnasiums, sports court, playing fields, ropes course, canteen, social area, and a healing trail. We provide 24-hour psychiatric care to girls and boys ages 6 to 17 with customized therapeutic approaches and intensive behavioral programs teach young patients to moderate their behavior, manage emotions and improve social functioning.

We are hiring for Part-Time(32 hours a week) Seasonal Lifeguards (May to September)

Qualifications

Lifeguard Job Requirements:

* High School Diploma or Equivalent

* Current Lifeguard Certification

* 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities:

* Maintain constant surveillance of residents in the water

* Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services

* Able to act quickly and appropriately to secure the safety of the residents in the event of an emergency

* Able to follow routine verbal and written instructions
