Sales Associate

Now is the time to join the newest boutique fitness studio in Wake Forest! We specialize in group fitness classes, personal training, personalized coaching, and nutritional counseling, and guidance.

If you are the right candidate we are looking for, you will be friendly, charming, enthusiastic and a team player. You will have a passion for RockBox, have high standards, be well presented, trustworthy punctual and love helping members achieve the health and fitness results they are striving for! If you aren't already taking RockBox classes, you'll need to commit to taking 1-2 classes each week, as loving RockBox and promoting our workouts are key elements of our culture. The Fitness Sales Consultant will demonstrate strong customer service skills, effective consultative selling know-how, a passion for the fitness industry and RockBox's unique approach to exercise. The role is responsible for meeting or exceeding all sales-related quotas and is an ambassador for RockBox Fitness inside and outside of the studio.

Job Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Greets members and guests promptly, enthusiastically and with a smile. Helps create a friendly positive entrance into the studio
• Facilitate check-in process by greeting and helping people check in for classes
• Recommend and sell ancillary products to current and prospective members
• Field incoming customer calls, emails and texts and responding in a timely manner

Consultative Sales

• Lead the consultative sales process with prospective clients and current members based on quotas & goals

Lead Management

• Execute lead management duties each shift including, but not limited to making phone calls, text messages and video text messages.

Studio Cleanliness

• Complete shift cleaning duties consistently to ensure a fantastic member and prospect experience
• Organize retail section, front desk and ensure it is well presented and clean at all times.

Studio Front Desk Operations

• Assist with printing of important documents needed to run the front desk procedures
• Restock Bathrooms, front desk, and office with all items and gear as needed
• Assist with member tasks, including but not limited to member texts, calls, birthday cards, and milestone cards
• Complete Hand-Written Cards for all new prospective members
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the general manager

• Positive attitude with a problem-solving approach to life
• Previous sales experience preferred
• Solid verbal and written communication skills required
• Ability to self-serve, adapt and work in fast-paced environment is a benefit to successfully perform duties
• Functional computer skills required
• Excellent communication, and customer service skills
• High school diploma required
