ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a Full-Time School Psychologist for a rewarding opportunity in Fairfax, VA. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in the emotional, social, and academic development of students. This position offers a unique chance to make a positive impact in the lives of young learners.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and support to students dealing with emotional or behavioral challenges.
- Promote a positive and inclusive school environment.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid School Psychologist certification in Virginia.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
