Details:

23/24 School Psychologist
Start date: 8/22/23
End date: 6/7/24
Number of days per week: 5
Number of hours per day: 8
Age group (elementary, middle, high school, K-12, etc): All (itinerant position)
Number of school sites: 1-3 (depends on candidate's qualifications and experience)
Will you consider an intern if they are credentialed? Yes
Any other credentials/certifications needed besides the state license? No
What is your availability to interview over the next week? July 25-27

Requirements

Education and Certification:

  1. Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  2. Valid and current Michigan state license or certification as a School Psychologist.

Experience:

  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a School Psychologist in an educational setting.
  2. Familiarity with Michigan state regulations and guidelines pertaining to special education and psychological services in schools.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in school psychology or a related role preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment and best practices.
  • Familiarity with special education laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-informed decisions.
  • Compassion, empathy, and commitment to student success.

Interviews are generally conducted via Zoom. Depending on the circumstances, pay is negotiable and usually experience-based.
